Start with the customer’s question.
Pick one question for the video: what the service does, what the visit looks like or what happens after a request. Say it plainly at the start. A long logo animation is not an answer.
Show the actual steps.
If you are demonstrating software, show the request, the reply and the next task. If you are explaining a trade service, show the relevant work and explain the scope. Keep private customer details out of the recording and label demonstration accounts clearly.
Keep the language natural.
Explain it as you would to a customer standing next to you. Short sentences and familiar words help. If a screen has a technical label, translate it into what the customer or team member needs to do.
Finish with the next step.
Tell the viewer how to learn more or request the service. Add captions so the video is useful without sound. Give it a clear title and a poster image that represents what the viewer will see. After watching, a customer should know what the service does and how to ask for it.
